MorningPrayer Saturday

Dear God,
Black Saturday was a day of despair for the disciples of Jesus. A time of mourning, weeping and wailing. We sometimes have these days of darkness when we also say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  It is then that we throw ourselves into your arms because we can no longer stand on our own. Hold us, O God, until the morning comes, for we know that light shines upon a stone that is rolled away and our fears and pains will rise like the morning dew. AMEN
