Dear God,
    May we be joyful in our community of family and friends, rejoicing in  faith, fellowship and work.  May your spirit enfold us like a cloak of holiness as we treasure the gifts of companionship and love. Help us to rise above the cold of pettiness and bitterness and know the warmth of forgiveness as we relax into the peace of your sacred fire and are warmed within your grace.  Eternal, amazing grace, may we accept this divine mystery. AMEN

Dear God,    This day, O God, be with those who have special needs of healing and comfort.  Many of us awoke to the glory of the day, the beauty of light and the possibility of love.  But many awoke to pain and sorrow and stress in their lives. We are grateful for all we have been given and we think with compassion of those who are facing trials.  We extend the loving hand of prayer and walk in spirit with them. May Jesus hold their hands. AMEN
