MorningPrayer Monday

Lord God,
     We turn to you in faith, knowing that your arms will comfort us and your light will push away the darkness. Even when we slip and slide and fall and cry, you are there to grab our hand and pick us up. You lift us into safety with words of assurance and love. You fill the gaps in our minds and patch the holes in our hearts.  You are ever mindful of us, and we turn to you, accepting your grace that  flows over us like a river of living water and the spirit filled wind. In gratitude, AMEN

Hey God,      I wondered about the wisdom of getting out of bed today:  If we do, then mistakes could be made, our muscles might get sore, we would use up resources like food and water, we might have to make decisions and face consequences, it sounds like a lot of work and effort...      And then the dog jumped on the bed to go out, the cats started running and clawing, the roosters crowed, the donkey brayed, the sun shone in the window, the phone rang, and...      Well, wish us luck with the day, and stick with us, O.K. AMEN
