Dear God, The morning mist consumes much of the world in its shroud of unknowing. But revealed is the rock on which I stand and the raft of safety if I venture forth. You, O God, are the rock and the raft, for wherever I go, you are there. For your love and grace is always with us all. AMEN
Dear God, Sometimes our feet are heavy and our hands tremble and fumble; but help our minds and spirit to soar like an eagle and be free of physical limitations. Sometimes our eyes are blurred and our ears hear only ocean waves; but help our sight to be the inner vision of wisdom and our ears to hear your voice. Sometimes we are tired and strained and stressed; but wash us clean with living water and anoint our heads with the oils of enduring love and grace. Let us be transformed in your spirit, our Living God. AMEN
Dear God, Morning in the mountains can be a time of Glory and Awe. We need signs of beauty and moments of hope, right now. We are living in a bleak time, God, of isolation and increasing fear. Financial ruin is a large part of our concern and illness is another. We pray for those who have already lost so much during this virus, and for those who have lost life and loved ones, our hearts are filled with compassion. In the silence of this morning, we pause and pray for our world. We ask for your help, God, and ask forgiveness for our sins. Above all, we need ongoing love and grace. AMEN
