Dear God,     Considering creation and us creatures that inhabit the earth; we sure are a varied, diverse, unique,  breathing, blood-flowing, thinking, feeling, acting, habit  driven creatures.  Each in our way, doing our God given nature born, inherited, DNA motivated action.  And yet, here we are, with choices and consequences. We choose life, we choose the Holy Spirit, we choose Jesus, we choose you. AMEN

Dear God,       Sometimes we get lost in a maze: the world is confusing and our thoughts can be even more convoluted. We twist and squirm, running in circles and can't seem to find our way to clarity of emotion and mind. Help us to focus our very being in that which is truly important.  Help us to center ourselves in the glory and wonder of your love for us and of our love for each other. In you, who have given to us, we pray. AMEN

Dear God,      Surrounded by sounds of the morning, the typical, the normal, the everyday we wake and move, beginning our daily routine.  Help us to be awake, aware, sensitive to the sounds of our day. May we pause and listen, oh so carefully to our breath, our heart and the world pulsing about us. Awake, aware, sensitive and in communion, we become one with the loving Christ and the eternal God. AMEN

Dear God, Let us walk in beauty and see life as an art form. Let us be in harmony and know the unity of all things past, present and future. Let us live in truth and experience creation as the Godly breath and blood. In all our being and doing might we be of         love that passes all understanding         peace that rejoices in communion         grace that forgives and gives hope. In Jesus we pray, AMEN      

Dear God,     "Slow us down....We go to fast     We got to make....The moment last." Stop Pause Breathe. Empty us of stress. Holy Spirit fill us full, Read slowly. Pray slowly. Move slowly. Dear God,      Hold our hand as we move today. AMEN

Holy Lord,     Sometimes our souls need soothing for we are ragged and torn. We need the whisper of your angels to comfort us.  We need immersion in the hush of your touch that takes away our pain and offers light in the darkness of our spirit.  When we cry out to you, hear our plea, O Lord.  Stop and attend  us in your infinite mercy.  Grant us peace and healing forever. AMEN

Dear God,      In the forest around our home, the sky is appearing in dots of blue as the leaves swirl, twirl, flip and float to the ground.  The earth swallows, digests and gives forth new life. You, our God, take care of us in the same way.  Upon you, we cast our cares and anxieties.  To you, we sing praise and thanks.  You accept our joys and fears, nurturing us in new hopes and wonders. We live in this transition and transformation.  We live in you. AMEN

Lord God,     We pray for new beginnings, which usually means, an ending to something, as well. May our endings be wholesome and healthy and our new beginnings be visionary and transforming.  We understand that it is sometimes hard to let go and difficult to begin again.  And we also know the excitement and anticipation of the process of change.  In all things, it is better and easier when we rest our heads and hearts in your care.  Help us to move forward, Lord God. AMEN

Dear God,      The changing landscape of fall creeps slowly upon us and then, suddenly, we are surprised by the beauty. Glory, we say.  Our very breath is whisked away in whirling leaves as we inhale colors of vibrancy and our thoughts flow like rainbow waters. We see you, God, in the midst of life; pulsating and creating, transforming and designing.  We too, are a new creation, trembling in the possibilities of a single moment. Immersed in love and saturated in grace. AMEN

Dear God,       In prayer, we find the vehicle of reaching out and touching the world in hope and reaching back into ourselves with a holy hug.  Let us be mindful of the power of prayer as we reach out and reach in, for we need to do both. Help us to touch the hem of Jesus garment, and to offer water to the needy. Let us be those who serve and love endlessly and gracefully. AMEN

Dear God,      In the Spirit of holiness, might we gaze outward at a world of possibility from our inner world of serenity and hopefulness.  Help us to live on the mountain of generous grace and sing the joy of purity and love.  May we be challenged  to live in wholeness and perfection as we are transformed by your presence and in your peace might we live all the days of our lives. AMEN

Dear God,      May we be filled with energy, the current that ignites our imagination and pours forth in creative endeavor.  Fill us with awareness, the senses that flow in kindness, filling the gaps in lives of need and sadness.  Fill us with your Spirit, the anointing grace that makes all things possible and shows us the way to live in the Kingdom as the Body of Christ.  May it be so. AMEN  

Dear God,     We pray for  those who are affected by the hurricane; for the terror that comes in the winds and waves, the loss of homes and community.  For those who have lost their lives and those left behind. We pray that love and caring will be strong in support and that we who have not been affected will feel our hearts moved and respond with our hands as best we are able. We are often at the mercy of the unexpected and can not change what is.  May we be strong in our faith and in our own spirit may we strive for the highest and best. With  God and in Jesus we pray AMEN

Creator God,    Sometimes, we get lost in the night sky.  Immersed in the milky way of flashing lights we are washed away into a universe of mystery and wonder.  Our minds leap into the vastness of space and we encounter twirling butterflies with light year wings and love flowing like dolphins. Speechless, our hearts beating  like exploding stars we bow our heads in awe and gratitude. Alive we gasp. God beyond all reason. AMEN

Holy Lord,    Can we  cup our hands and fill them full of sunlight... will it last.    Can we open our eyes to the stars and fill them with starlight... will it last.    Can our memories retain the wonder of laughter and the smiles of the innocent... will it last.    Can an intentional life of loving kindness overcome fear, stress and anger... will it last. Immersed in your grace and sustained by the Spirit that is Holy... yes, it will last. AMEN

  Dear God,      May the sunlight fill our faces with the bright hope of your love.  May the darkness melt away, the gray fog dissipate and our spirits be saturated in the power  and mystery of new vision and hope.  Mend the tears, heal our tears and fill us full of purified wonder and joy.  In the new dawn of life eternal, immerse us in your grace. AMEN
