Questions for you God,
    Is there time in the day to sit down to the paper and a mug of coffee? Is there time to eat eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes? Is there time to watch the clouds flow and the squirrels play? Is there time to hold the baby in loving arms and watch creation form? Is there time to write a poem, pet the cat, walk the dog? Is there time to reflect upon life and do nothing? Is there time for you,God? AMEN

Good morning God,      Today is a sad troubling day for many of us. It is difficult to understand the choice of President that was made.   For the past year we have heard Trump express sentiments that are against everything we value and hold as moral in human relations. That he has been supported in his rhetoric is an indictment of our culture and people.   Do we really believe this, or were we pulled into political ranting and raving. It has been divisive, racist, sexist, mean-spirited and certainly not Christian in its focus and content. It is not the values that Jesus expressed or that the Bible shares of love, forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. I am dismayed and pessimistic about this choice.       It remains to be seen whether he truly means what he has said and will pull our country further down this path.   With your help, God, we ask the Holy Spirit to give us a large dose of wisdom, clarity and kindness.  We need to elevate our values of goodness, acceptance, understandi
