Dear God,
May we be a lake of purest water; reflecting the passing world in all its variety. May we be a deep lake with a depth of wisdom that absorbs the reflection and ponders the complexity and meaning passing along its surface. May we be a bottomless lake that is only contained by your cosmic love and finds its constant source and renewal in the springs of your eternal grace. In the living waters of Jesus name, we pray. AMEN

Sorry, for not posting over the past week.  I am out of the country and don not have ready internet access.  This will continue for another week, and then I should be online, again. Thank You, Keith

Good morning God,      Today is a sad troubling day for many of us. It is difficult to understand the choice of President that was made.   For the past year we have heard Trump express sentiments that are against everything we value and hold as moral in human relations. That he has been supported in his rhetoric is an indictment of our culture and people.   Do we really believe this, or were we pulled into political ranting and raving. It has been divisive, racist, sexist, mean-spirited and certainly not Christian in its focus and content. It is not the values that Jesus expressed or that the Bible shares of love, forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. I am dismayed and pessimistic about this choice.       It remains to be seen whether he truly means what he has said and will pull our country further down this path.   With your help, God, we ask the Holy Spirit to give us a large dose of wisdom, clarity and kindness.  We need to elevate our values of goodness, acceptance, understandi
