MorningPrayer Tuesday

Holy Lord,
    Cosmic energies of Holiness are raining down on us.  If we allow ourselves to be immersed in Christ's being, we will be saturated.  The promise of the ages will flow in us, spiritual grace that defies  gravity.  Let us be aloft and soar in the mystery of eternity, even as we live and breathe, gracefully , in the kingdom of our present fulfillment. Here and now, may we be light and love as servants to all. AMEN

Good morning God,      Today is a sad troubling day for many of us. It is difficult to understand the choice of President that was made.   For the past year we have heard Trump express sentiments that are against everything we value and hold as moral in human relations. That he has been supported in his rhetoric is an indictment of our culture and people.   Do we really believe this, or were we pulled into political ranting and raving. It has been divisive, racist, sexist, mean-spirited and certainly not Christian in its focus and content. It is not the values that Jesus expressed or that the Bible shares of love, forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. I am dismayed and pessimistic about this choice.       It remains to be seen whether he truly means what he has said and will pull our country further down this path.   With your help, God, we ask the Holy Spirit to give us a large dose of wisdom, clarity and kindness.  We need to elevate our values of goodness, acceptance, understandi
