MorningPrayer Wednesday

Dear God,
   Be with those who struggle in illness,  distress or dis-ease. Help to bring them back to wellness for there is a deep inner desire to be whole and healthy.  Be with those who offer the healing touch of word or procedure, might they be guided by the cosmic touch of your guiding energy.  Out of the mists of the unknown and uncertainty might we live in the light of eternal love and infinite grace. AMEN

Good morning God,      Today is a sad troubling day for many of us. It is difficult to understand the choice of President that was made.   For the past year we have heard Trump express sentiments that are against everything we value and hold as moral in human relations. That he has been supported in his rhetoric is an indictment of our culture and people.   Do we really believe this, or were we pulled into political ranting and raving. It has been divisive, racist, sexist, mean-spirited and certainly not Christian in its focus and content. It is not the values that Jesus expressed or that the Bible shares of love, forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. I am dismayed and pessimistic about this choice.       It remains to be seen whether he truly means what he has said and will pull our country further down this path.   With your help, God, we ask the Holy Spirit to give us a large dose of wisdom, clarity and kindness.  We need to elevate our values of goodness, acceptance, understandi
