Dear God,
     We sing Gloria and Love born this crystalline morning. Son rays pierce our heart out of the risen sky and we hold the new dawn in our breath. What wondrous opportunity lifts us up as we celebrate your loving grace in the voice of the angels and the community at prayer. What miracle awaits us if we but see and hear?  Gathered in your arms of Joy  and your blood of Hope we are ablaze in your Peace.  Silent in anticipation. AMEN

Good morning God,      Today is a sad troubling day for many of us. It is difficult to understand the choice of President that was made.   For the past year we have heard Trump express sentiments that are against everything we value and hold as moral in human relations. That he has been supported in his rhetoric is an indictment of our culture and people.   Do we really believe this, or were we pulled into political ranting and raving. It has been divisive, racist, sexist, mean-spirited and certainly not Christian in its focus and content. It is not the values that Jesus expressed or that the Bible shares of love, forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. I am dismayed and pessimistic about this choice.       It remains to be seen whether he truly means what he has said and will pull our country further down this path.   With your help, God, we ask the Holy Spirit to give us a large dose of wisdom, clarity and kindness.  We need to elevate our values of goodness, acceptance, understandi
