                                                                          Dear God,

We realize that we are not isolated, an entity unto ourselves.  
We are interactive community creatures, 
flowing out from our core into the world and, like the wind, 
becoming part of the movement of every living thing.  
We realize that at our core, is the very breath of you, 
the Spirit that energizes, ignites and vibrates our response to all of life.
Help us to live within ourselves as outward manifestations of your Spirit.
 Help us to be responsible to the earth as a whole and to all its members. 
We are the Body of Christ, interactive and alive. 

AMEN

Good morning God,      Today is a sad troubling day for many of us. It is difficult to understand the choice of President that was made.   For the past year we have heard Trump express sentiments that are against everything we value and hold as moral in human relations. That he has been supported in his rhetoric is an indictment of our culture and people.   Do we really believe this, or were we pulled into political ranting and raving. It has been divisive, racist, sexist, mean-spirited and certainly not Christian in its focus and content. It is not the values that Jesus expressed or that the Bible shares of love, forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. I am dismayed and pessimistic about this choice.       It remains to be seen whether he truly means what he has said and will pull our country further down this path.   With your help, God, we ask the Holy Spirit to give us a large dose of wisdom, clarity and kindness.  We need to elevate our values of goodness, acceptance, understandi
