MorningPrayer Monday

Dear God,
In the midst of luxury, some of us pray this prayer.  How fortunate we are. How blessed or lucky or something.  So many of your people are displaced, homeless, living in extreme poverty, war zones, or diseased by hate, bitterness, disease and extreme dis-ease. So we pause in the middle of our day to give thanks, to lift up hands in praise, to fold them in prayer, to be aware of and recognize what we have. In gratitude, joy and contentment will fill our hearts and we will know love and peace. AMEN

Good morning Keith,
I found this prayer to be very appropriate for our Team to serve at a Pads Homeless Shelter tonight. Its -20 below zero with wind chills -35 degree's. We will have approximately 80 homeless clients tonight seeking shelter and out of that 25 are
children, 20 Vets, and so many with illnesses. I hope your prayer inspires those serving tonight to be filled with compassion and grace and to extend a loving warm heart! Thanks for the inspiration!
