MorningPrayer Thursday

Dear God,
If we come to you with a quiet request will you hear our plea. If we yell and shout will you suggest that we exercise self-control. If we smile and grin and try to bargain will you remind us to be honest. If we sulk and pout and mutter darkly will you put us in our room. If we stamp our foot and demand to be heard will you fold your Godly arms and stare us down????  Oh, Lord, we are humbled by our own desires and frailties and yet we do have needs. Help us, we pray, when we get in our own way. AMEN
