MorningPrayer Saturday

Dear God,
    Sometimes we feel like we live in fish bowls on the counter of life; each in our own environment and world,  good and bad. We see other fish bowls, observing that world but still, we must live in our own, doing the best we can. Give us the ability to live in full grace in our own world and the power to move between worlds in, sharing and love. Maybe, as we share our environs of life, we learn and care more about the other.  Your will, O God, for us.AMEN

Good morning God,      Today is a sad troubling day for many of us. It is difficult to understand the choice of President that was made.   For the past year we have heard Trump express sentiments that are against everything we value and hold as moral in human relations. That he has been supported in his rhetoric is an indictment of our culture and people.   Do we really believe this, or were we pulled into political ranting and raving. It has been divisive, racist, sexist, mean-spirited and certainly not Christian in its focus and content. It is not the values that Jesus expressed or that the Bible shares of love, forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. I am dismayed and pessimistic about this choice.       It remains to be seen whether he truly means what he has said and will pull our country further down this path.   With your help, God, we ask the Holy Spirit to give us a large dose of wisdom, clarity and kindness.  We need to elevate our values of goodness, acceptance, understandi
