MorningPrayer Tuesday


Dear God,
The fabric of our lives stretches from nature to nurture,
born as to developing into,
imagined and created to perceived and natural.
We are clothed in a variety and texture of garments, styles, attitudes and behaviors.
What we desire is to have integrity, decency, and honor in what we are and do.
Help us to see and live beyond our own egocentric garments and into the clothes of your grace and love. 
AMEN

Good morning God,      Today is a sad troubling day for many of us. It is difficult to understand the choice of President that was made.   For the past year we have heard Trump express sentiments that are against everything we value and hold as moral in human relations. That he has been supported in his rhetoric is an indictment of our culture and people.   Do we really believe this, or were we pulled into political ranting and raving. It has been divisive, racist, sexist, mean-spirited and certainly not Christian in its focus and content. It is not the values that Jesus expressed or that the Bible shares of love, forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. I am dismayed and pessimistic about this choice.       It remains to be seen whether he truly means what he has said and will pull our country further down this path.   With your help, God, we ask the Holy Spirit to give us a large dose of wisdom, clarity and kindness.  We need to elevate our values of goodness, acceptance, understandi
